Mardial - Leave This Town (Fanmade Lyric Video)
Personal Favorite
Possibly the first lyric video I ever made.
I created it during the pandemic. I was in love with Mardial's song, and it felt natural to make some
kind of tribute.
The art direction for this project was focused on capturing the dystopian / cyberpunk / digital vibe of
the track. I decided to experiment with neon motion graphics to match that feeling.
I downloaded free sci-fi panel textures from cc0textures.com and used them as canvases for the lyrics.
The whole project was rendered in Eevee due to my laptop’s limitations.
During the pandemic, I also listen a lot to Hindia. His songs feel like conversations. They're just
fluid.
And I chose this particular song to make a tribute for because I love the Instrument.
Also it was rendered in eevee. Uploaded to youtube in 306 by accident.
Bring Me The Horizon - Dig It (Fanmade Lyric Video)
RECENT
I listen to BMTH practically every day, and this particular song touches my soul more than I ever
imagined.
In this project, I used my own photos from different times to represent fading memories. I edited out
other people from all the photos as a manifestation of my dissociation from the rest of the world as
time goes by.
I used a lot of BlenderKit assets for this, and rendered everything in Cycles. I managed to pull off
this heavy render using Google Colab, my 6-year-old office laptop could never handle it.
It would’ve taken a hundred years to render the whole thing locally. Even the viewport playback was
barely functional.
I synced the lyrics by pure magic.
